Mother's Day Carnivorous Plant Hike: May 13, 2018
NCES Members are invited to bring their families to celebrate Mother's Day at our Carnivorous Plant Wildflower Hike. Join researchers from NC State University as they talk about the amazing plant-insect interactions that happen in, on, and around venus fly traps and pitcher plants. Get a chance to admire the lovely blossoms of these charismatic NC wildflowers and enjoy the unique ecosystems of southeastern NC. This event is only for NCES members and their immediate families. Mothers, grandmothers, and mothers-in-law of NCES members are also welcome to attend.
If you are not an NCES member, it's never too late to join.
This event is free for members, but pre-registration is required.
