The museum also feature Café Insecta, where the brave can sample buggy dishes prepared by local chefs. The NC Entomological Society runs the "Termite Trails" booth where visitors can learn about insect chemical communication. More information about the event is on the museum BugFest website. |
Darwin Day - Postponed by Museum until 2024
Spend a day learning about Darwin and what his theories of natural selection have done for the world of science, research and education. Meet some of the scientists who are continuing his work, and learn how Darwin's theories are being applied in cutting-edge research. In addition to hands-on science-education stations, there will be crafts and games for all ages. The North Carolina Entomological Society will be showing off insect diversity with our collections and petting zoo.
